International Symposium on the Analytic Hierarchy Process 2014

The International Symposium on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (ISAHP) for Decision Making brings together researchers, teachers, students and users of AHP/ANP to share their research and experiences in decision making. The symposium brings together scholars' research applications and perspectives of their areas of the world to this international forum.

The ISAHP is a biennial conference on multi-criteria decision analysis, particularly the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and its extension, the analytic network process (ANP), both developed by Thomas L. Saaty, and the combination of these with other methods. It brings together researchers, teachers, students and users of AHP/ANP to share their research and practical experience in making decisions incorporating these two processes.

Paper proposals presented at ISAHP cover the major studies of international research in AHP/ANP, and provide solutions for current challenges in important areas of decision making. Of particular interest are the topics listed for the conference as well as scholarship developed by students who constitute the new generation of AHP/ANP scholars and practitioners.

Beberapa Software AHP

Analytic Hierarchy Process atau yang biasa disebut AHP saja, merupakan sebuah metode / teknik yang digunakan untuk mengambil suatu keputusan berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang ada. Sesuai namanya, AHP juga membuat susunan-susunan mulai dari goal, kriteria dan alternatif secara hirarki.
 
Apa itu goal, kriteria dan alternatif? Goal sudah pasti adalah tujuan akhir atau dengan kata lain adalah keputusan yang diambil. Alternatif adalah sebuah pilihan-pilihan yang tersedia untuk menjadi sebuah goal. Kriteria sendiri adalah sebuah atau beberapa syarat yang mesti terpenuhi oleh alternatif-alternatif yang ada untuk mendapatkan goal.
 
Mungkin dengan contoh sederhana akan lebih memudahkan bagiamana membedakan mana bagian goal, alternatif dan juga kriteria. Contoh, misal pada kasus yang saya gunakan adalah kita akan memilih presiden pada tahun 2014 mendatang. Untuk memilih beberapa presiden terdapat 3 kandidat yang saling bersaing dan dengan menggunakan beberapa kriteria, dan dari situ kita bisa mengambil keputusan dengan AHP dan memilih alternatif yang lebih unggul.

Untuk setiap Alternatif(calon) harus memenuhi Kriteria(persyaratan), lalu dari setiap Alternatif maupun Kriteria tersebut pasti mempunyai bobot / nilai sehingga pada akhirnya didapatlah Goal dengan metode AHP untuk memilih Presiden Indonesia 2014.

Untuk mencoba membuat contoh kasus dengan metode AHP bisa menggunakan beberapa software, misalnya: Expert Choice, Criterium DecisionPlus dan juga SuperDecision.
